Textures are important for gloves to improve the grip of the gloves. Other than the classic spray on or sand blast textures, over the years, we have developed different types of shapes and textures to fulfill the desired results of the gloves. COLORED FORMER / MOULD - EFFECTIVE YET EFFICIENT
With lean manufacturing in mind, we have came up with a colored former / mould for visual management- white residue can be spotted easily with the colors difference (no camouflage effect). Residues are often linked with pin holes.
By only identifying the non-conforming formers, rework or replacement of formers can be vastly reduced. In short, it will be more cost effective and efficient.
Customized Examination Former / Mould / Mold
One of our valued client made a very very special request to fabricate a former / mould in order for them to produce gloves for a doctor with a deformed hand. As part of Gotaj Ceramics' Corporate Social Responsibility, we decided to donate this former / mould to this brave soul who strive on to save lives despite her disadvantage. May God Bless Her!
"BIRKIN" TEXTURE FOR BETTER GRIP
The name "Birkin" came from Hermes Birkin Handbag. To stand out from the conventional textures like diamond, fish scale, sand blasting or spray on, we have developed the "Birkin" Textured Former / Mould and we are proud to say that we are the one and only one who manage to produce this sort of texture. Gloves produced from the "Birkin" Textured Former / Mould will have a more pronounced texture which will vastly improve the grip of the gloves.
EFFORTLESS CLEANING - MATTE GLAZED COATING FORMER / MOULD
Matte glazed coating falls in between a glazed and unglazed coating. Theoretically, a glossier (glazed) surface will be easier to clean compared to an unglazed surface. However, glazed former / mould is only suitable for latex powder gloves production. Hence, to overcome this, we came up with the Matte Glazed Former / Mould which is suitable for the production of both latex powder & powder free gloves and most importantly makes cleaning effortless and easy-peasy!
DOES GEL / LATEX / NITRILE SLIP SOUNDS FAMILIAR TO YOU?
With the pandemic Covid-19, the demand for gloves grew exponentially. And to cope with the massive demands for gloves, gloves makers ramp up their production by increasing the speed of the line to meet the global demands for personal protection equipment (PPE). Gel / latex / nitrile slip issue arise upon increment in line speed. With that in mind, we came up with the Far Infrared (FIR) Former / Mould which we believe could solve the slip issue. We are more than happy to work with the gloves manufacturers for this prospective project.
